MOUNT HOOD (AP) — The U. S. Geological Survey recorded a small quake early Thursday at Mount Hood. The quake at 1:52 a.m. was a magnitude 2.6 at a depth of about two miles.

PORTLAND (AP) — Oregon state geologists say they’ve been watching a recent swarm of small earthquakes on Mount Hood. KGW-TV reports the quakes started Sunday evening and have been occurring right beneath Government Camp.
