The City of The Dalles is working with Google to improve performance of the free public wi-fi system and expand the service area.

The City of The Dalles will soon be installing surveillance cameras at the Lewis and Clark Festival Area and nearby Union Street Marine Terminal to stop a growing problem of graffiti and vandalism.

If you have a wireless tablet or laptop, or don’t want to use up your data on your cell phone, you can still Google as necessary at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum — and soon the same can be said at several local parks.
