Needing a win to advance, the Riverhawks came through with a dominant performance in a 7-0 shutout victory over Pendleton Tuesday in a Columbia River Conference match played in The Dalles.

Pedro Ayala played an entire 80 minutes and assisted on the eventual game-winning goal by Jack Bonham in the opening half and later helped secure the win with the third goal in TD’s 3-0 victory over Pendleton on Oct. 4.

The Dalles has been steadily progressing, knocking on victory’s door in their past two soccer matches. Thursday, they finally broke through with three unanswered goals to capture a 3-1 win over St. Helens in a non-league contest played at Discovery Field in The Dalles.
