For this awareness month, I’d like to go back to the basics of awareness. Forget about the commercials, the fundraising, the treatments. I simply want to introduce you to a condition that often goes undiagnosed for many years, despite its debilitating and life-altering symptoms — a condition that remains undiscussed and unmentioned, despite the over 5 million Americans that have it: gastroparesis.
