Interstate 84 will be closed nights eastbound and westbound at exit 56 Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19. Delays may be minimal because the off-ramp leads directly to an on-ramp and a quick return to the highway.

Two lanes of eastbound Interstate 84 will close at 6 a.m. Wednesday in Hood River while crews repair a deteriorating segment of the road surface on the bridge over the Hood River.

Paving closes exit 62

The I-84 paving project between Cascade Locks and Hood River is underway and as part of the project, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be paving the on- and off-ramps on I-84 from Hood River to Cascade Locks, including those in Hood River (at exits 62, 63, and 64).

ROADWORK: Second Street closed Sunday

The eastbound lane of West Second Street will be closed to all traffic between Lincoln and Webber on Sunday, Sept. 28, from 6 a.m. to about 6:30 p.m. The City of The Dalles Public Works Department will conduct a pavement maintenance project to extend the life and improve the driving surface until a more extensive resurfacing can be done in the future.
