To the Editor: Prepare for an onslaught of negative ads from our current congressional representative. I’d so much rather hear about his accomplishments, but since he has little to show for his 20 years in Congress, just the few good things for which his committee can take credit, negativity is his fall back.
To the editor: It takes longer to complain than address actual issues in life. Two days to complain or 30 minutes to resolve! Negativity won’t produce a safer community or less stress in your life.
To the editor: First a shout out to the committee that raised firework funds for our city and the businesses that contributed to this awesome occasion. Could this be a start up of rebuilding our city? I hope so, it was spectacular.
Let your creative side loose this year. Don’t be deterred by the inevitable changes coming your way. Accept that some situations are beyond your control, and devote yourself to success. Believing in your abilities is the first step. Enjoy the moment and the ride.
Concentrate your abilities on working toward a personal goal. Make good use of all the resources available to you, and don’t allow the pessimistic attitudes of others to dissuade you. Be on the alert for opportunities, and take full advantage of them when they appear.
