The Dufur Rangers have won at least one playoff game for the past decade and were riding a four-year streak of 1A state titles entering Friday’s quarterfinal game at Crane.

DUFUR – Following Tuesday’s losses at home versus Lyle-Wishram, the Dufur Rangers see themselves mired in a five-game losing streak.

After what looked like an encouraging start to the season, the Dufur Rangers are mired in a three-game losing skid, capped by a doubleheader sweep by scores of 13-3 and 20-2 at the hands of Columbia, of White Salmon, Wash. Monday in a non-league baseball doubleheader.

Derek Frakes completed all eight of his passes for 134 yards and three scores, as the No. 4-ranked Dufur Rangers scored on their first six first-half possessions in a 58-22 romp over Perrydale Friday in a Big Sky conference matchup.
