With an opportunity to shine in front of the home crowd, The Dalles track and field team had its young athletes hit it out of the park with 17 first-place finishes at Tuesday’s duel at Sid White Field. The girls’ had nine secure top honors, and the boys’ were right there with eight firsts and eight more second-place outputs.
