To the editor: Our thanks need to be given to Franklin Graham who went to every state asking for prayers for our nation. Thousands turned out. That is why the vote turned out the way it did, and it gives us hope since so many Christians prayed.
Growing up in a Canadian family in the United States, it was never really in my blood to be political in any way. My parents have never been able to vote in this country, so the conversation didn’t come up much.
To the editor: The free press of America is no longer free. Does that worry you? If you watch or read CBS, ABC or NBC during the current political situation, you are being directed and guided to their way of thinking. I watched one of the three magnum news groups during a news report the other evening and they spent six minutes reporting an unsubstantiated accusation against Donald Trump of sexual misconduct. They then spent 22 seconds reporting his denial.
To the editor: What do we get with Hillary as president? We will have a U.S. Constitution that is very different than it is now with the new judges she appoints.
To the editor: Four years ago, it came to me so strongly that that was the last normal election we would have. I could have prophesied it and felt no fear of the Lord.
To the editor: Election views: Donald Trump had his TV coverage and now it’s Hillary’s turn — what will the outcome be? What are the differences between the two? Trump started out with 17 candidates in the GOP race. Hillary started with two but ended up quickly with only Bernie Sanders.
