To the editor: In Karen Wilson’s column, “Trump should be “modern day president,” she lists various statements by him that are offensive. I agree that they are offensive, juvenile and unnecessary. However, she ignores the uncalled-for vile hatred of various forms thrown at him on nearly a daily basis.

To the editor: As military leaders, corporate leaders, members of Congress, and countless others of all political persuasions denounce the violence, racism, hatred and intolerance of alt-right/neo-Nazi/white supremacy/KKK demonstrators in Charlottesville last weekend, there are a few voices not speaking out with convincing conviction.
