To the editor: A letter disturbed me by denigrating a young couple announcing their engagement in the Chronicle. I do not want to take on the Catholics and believe they have every right to believe as they will. But as the old saying goes “your rights end at my chin.” Meaning you can stand up for what you believe until it hurts someone.

To the editor: I have been bothered for some time (and I am not alone) about the listing in the Chronicle of admissions to the hospital. With all the forms we have to sign regarding privacy at the hospital why is it posted in the paper? Is this even legal?

To the editor: What wonderful photos the young ones are sending in for the contest! The things the kids see that I forget to look at is marvelous. Are they (the photos, not the kids) going to be available to buy or at least be on display? They are art. So far I like the wind mills best.

To the editor: So happy to see the plans for the Sunshine Mill. Marvelous design! Now, if we could get the same architect to make over the plans for that horrific hotel going in in the Granada block. That’s going to fit in like a diamond in a goat’s ear.
