DUFUR – Since taking home a Big Sky Conference district championship in 2014, the Dufur volleyball team has had three consecutive runner-up finishes. Second-year coach Kristin Whitley fields a roster of three seniors, five juniors, a sophomore and a freshman, including all-league winners Sydnee Byers, Trinity Blake and Mikayla Kelly that aspire to take a monumental step forward.

DUFUR – After a one-year break, Kayla Bailey is back and ready to be a driving force behind the surge of the Dufur volleyball team. As one of four setters on the roster, Bailey is looking forward to the chance to take over the role vacated by graduated senior and all-state winner, Sydney Reed.

The Lady Rangers swept past South Wasco County in three sets to advance to the district championship, but ended up losing in three to eventual district champion Arlington in the finals Saturday in tournament action at Kurtz Gym in The Dalles.
