Gorge Grown Food Network and the Rockford Grange present the Greenhorn’s Up Up! Film Festival, a series of independent films and shorts that explore the questions of farmland, access, rural livelihoods and sustainability of people and place, at the Rockford Grange Dec. 11.

“DamNation,” a long-awaited documentary film about dam removal, featuring the Condit Dam removal as well as the plight of Columbia River salmon, will premiere in Hood River at the Hood River Middle School auditorium on Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. Admission is $5, benefiting Columbia Riverkeeper. The film is 87 minutes.
