Hood River Valley Snowboard Team’s Autumn Inouye claimed an individual state halfpipe title last week in the Oregon Interscholastic Snowboard Association state championships in Bend. Along with the individual title, the girls team brought home a first-place trophy for the halfpipe event thanks to a second-place performance by Maddie Collins and a 15th-place result for Katie Middle.

Hood River Valley Snowboarding Club boys and girls teams claimed individual and team Gorge League titles this month after solid performances throughout the season. The team of high school snowboarders will train this weekend in preparation for the Oregon Interscholastic Snowboarding Association state championship, held March 13-16 at Mt. Bachelor.
