To the editor: In the race for Position 3 on the Wasco County Board of Commissioners, we are very fortunate to have Kathy Schwartz as a highly qualified candidate with a track record of effective administrative experience with the Wasco and Sherman County Health Department.

To the editor: My name is Brittan Schwartz and I am proud to say my mother, Kathy, is running for Wasco County commissioner. Although not unbiased as her daughter, I would like Wasco County to know what it was like growing up with Kathy as a mother because I know she will bring the same kind of tough love to the position.

To the editor: Dave Jones, presently on the D-21 School Board, is unquestionably the man to vote for to remain on the board — with integrity and good common sense. Why? He has served as a high school principal with great competence and integrity.
