To the editor: (Edited for content.) It’s one thing for an incumbent politician to oppose the challenger with ads, personal appearances and sound bites. It’s quite another to punish a challenger using the force of government.

To the editor: The upcoming election involves incumbents that know what to do and how to get it done for our state and county. There are challengers that want their jobs, but I urge you not to vote for change when change is not what you need. The new folks want what the incumbent’s want and are doing already.
