To the editor: Thank you CH2M HILL and Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation for your partnership in installing the Bike Fixation Station on the Riverfront Trail in The Dalles! It is actions like this that show dedication to the community and supporting recreation through the gorge.

Bike station dedication

Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation District and CH2M would like to invite the community out to Kiwanis Pocket Park today, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Bike Fixtation Station along Riverfront Trail. The station was donated to the parks district by CH2M Hill to serve cyclists and has a tire pump with pressure guage and a variety of retractable tools to fix any problem they may have on a ride.
