To the editor: I'm afraid we can now expect to see neglect or repudiations by the GOP of the new Congressional Budget Office’s report. It predicts that 14 million people will become uninsured in 2018 if the “repeal and replace” legislation (ending the Affordable Care Act as we know it) is passed.

To the editor: I appear to be screaming madly that the sky is falling. “Oh pastors are lying and deceiving people.” Prove it! Last week a man wrote a letter and quoted a “supposed” Bible passage. Mark 8:36, “What is the profit for one to gain the whole (work, world?) if it causes the loss of his eternal soul?” The word “eternal” is not in this Bible passage. I looked in six different versions, no eternal. Called some friends for other versions, no eternal.

To the editor: The other day, celebrated investigative reporter and well-known author Bob Woodward, who helped lead the way to solve Richard Nixon’s crimes during Watergate, had the gall and audacity to suggest President Obama’s behavior is that of a madman, the way he is running our country into the ground. That didn’t sit well with the Barack Hussein media, so they’re going after Woodward’s long-standing credibility because he dared to speak out against their lecturing leftist leader.
