40 Years Ago-1973 Harvesting of this area’s extremely heavy cherry crop is now past its peak but will continue well into July. The fresh pack has been tapering, and part of the crop has been going in recent days to the canning trade. Both blacks and Royal Annes are being shipped to canneries.
