To the editor: After dozens of attempts to repeal Obamacare and two trips to the Supreme Court, Republicans finally found a friendly Texas judge to declare the ACA unconstitutional. While that ruling may be overturned, Republicans should worry that they risk being held to their repeated promises to “repeal and replace” the ACA with something “better, cheaper and covers everyone”.

To the editor: After reading this week’s Crosstalk, I would just like to challenge RaeLynn to do an in-depth story about how the Affordable Care Act has helped the people of this community.

To the editor: Ms. Wilhelm (Opinion, May 18, The Dalles Chronicle) has a different outlook than I do, and different anecdotal examples of how the ACA is functioning.

To the editor: Thought the AHCA was dead, and we were back to the ACA as before? Not by a long shot, and the new version is worse than ever.

To the editor: As a resident of Juniper Flat (near Maupin), I am concerned that the American Health Care Act, the Republican replacement plan for Obamacare (the ACA) will make health insurance unaffordable for many of my neighbors.

To the editor: I am relieved that Rep. Walden is determined that people with preexisting conditions can get health insurance but I am concerned that he doesn’t have a viable plan to make insurance affordable.
