Vicky Pyron went to her Lord on Sept. 30, 2017. She was 59 years old.
Vicky was born in Biloxi, Miss., on Dec. 27, 1957, to Tom and Brenda Ford. She was raised in Memphis, Tenn. She made many life-long friends during her school years in Memphis. After the birth of her first son, Chip, on Oct. 2, 1976, she relocated to the Northwest. She went to Cooper Spur to stay with her grandparents.
Her second son, Shane, was born June 19, 1979, after she moved to Hood River, Ore., and married Michael Willis. She spent 17 years working with the Hood River Medical Group. Following her time with HRMG, Vicky enjoyed many happy years working with Dr. Luke Sloan and his staff.
Vicky's passion was family. After raising two loving sons, Vicky was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra Hope Willis and Michael Aiden Willis. On Sept. 25, 2012, Vicky added to her family her husband Gary Pyron, and his son Tommy.
Vicky is survived by her husband Gary; his son Tommy; mother Brenda; children Chip, and his wife Heather, Shane and his wife Shannon; brother, Rusty Ford, his wife Elaine; and grandchildren, Alex and Aiden; and nieces and nephews, Candace, Rustin, Kristin, Joe, and Austin. She was preceded in death by her father Tom; brother John, and sister Sonja.
A service to mourn Vicky’s passing, and to celebrate her life, is planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Hood River Alliance Church, 2650 Montello Ave, Hood River, Ore. 97031.
