Troy Harris, 47, died in his sleep at 2:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14th. Troy was born December 24th, 1969 in Eugene, Oregon and was a lifelong resident of The Dalles. He worked as a rigger for the Army Corps of Engineers at The Dalles Dam. Troy was a passionate outdoorsman who loved Jesus and hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
Troy is survived by his wife Gloria Harris, three sons - Austin Harris, Aaron Pollck and Logan Pollock, parents - Sam & Kathy Sprenger and Steve & Carol Harris, brothers - Stacey Harris and Kevin Sprenger, sisters - Angie Temple and Elizabeth Creaser, nephews - Stephen Johnson & Saedrik Creaser, nieces - Melinda Fedorovskiy, Amber Harris, Taylor Temple, Avalynn Creaser, Kamya Creaser, Naehayla Creaser, Alanna Sprenger and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21st at Covenant Christian Community Church. Pastor David Clear will be officiating.
Reception will follow at the church.
