Stuart R. Baird, Jr., age 77, died in Eugene, OR on March 30, 2015. Born in Ft. Dodge, IA, to Stuart A. and Doris Baird he attended Gresham High School. On March 1, 1969, he married Nola Baird. Stu lived in Eugene, OR and worked at Albertsons, Inc. as the Store Director until retiring in 1997.
Stu will be especially remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will also be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor as well the many hours he spent on the golf course.
Survivors include his wife, Nola (Eugene), his sons, Stuart P. Baird (Keri), Gresham, Ore., Casey Baird (Lisa), Camas, Wash., Michael Baird (Kelly), Gresham, Ore., his daughters Robin Baird (Kevin Lee), Eugene, Ore., and Paula Webster (Tom), Tracy, Calif., his brother’s Lloyd Baird (Barbra), Manzanita, Ore., Donald Baird (Melanie), Gresham, Ore., and his sister’s Linda Armitage, Portland, Ore., and Jeannie Baird, Milwaukie, Ore. Stu is also the proud grandpa to 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Stu was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Baird, his parents Stuart and Doris Baird and his brother Douglas Baird.
Services will be held on April 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park at 225 S. Danebo, Eugene, OR. Internment will directly follow the service. Relatives and friends are welcome at Stu & Nola’s house directly following the internment.
