Steven Robert Malcolm

Steven Robert Malcolm was born on December 7th, 1946, to Robert and June Malcolm. He was the first of three sons and a daughter. Steve was born and raised in The Dalles and grew up on the family farm on Cherry Heights Road. Steve graduated from The Dalles high school in 1964 and soon after joined the United States Navy. Steve achieved the rank of petty officer third class as a radarman.

Steve served in Vietnam and was proud of his service to his country. Steve married Delcie Mitchell in August of 1965 and raised a daughter Yvonne and a son Martin. After the death of his father Bob, Steve moved his family back to take over the family farm on Cherry Heights. For many years Steve and Delcie raised a family and ran the peach and cherry orchard well known for its sweet dry land fruit. When the couple devorced Steve started a new chapter in his life with his second wife Angelika Nueser in 1994. Together Steve and Angie enjoyed loving each other, spending time with family and friends, and caring for many dogs they adopted at their home on five mile.
