Sharon passed away peacefully on March 2, 2015 under the care of hospice and surrounded by family.
Sharon was born September 27, 1946 in Colfax, Washingon to David and Sue Jean Nolan.
She is survived by siblings William and Connie Nolan of Sparks, Nevada, and Clifford and Jeanette Nolan of Colfax, Washington; children Timothy and Beth Perkins of Vancouver, Washington, lee and Jennifer Perkins of The Dalles, Oregon, Christine Carney of Carthage, Missouri, Aaron and  Heather Perkins of Troutdale, Oregon, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sharon worked for the Hood River School District for many years where she retired in 2002.
A resident of Rufus, Oregon, Sharon took great pride serving on city council and was very active in the community.
Sharon will be missed by all, including her many friends and will be remembered for her unique sense of humor. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
