Roseanne “Anne” Hicks-Jacob (Carter) passed away peacefully at Kaiser Sunnyside on November 5, 2016 in Clackamas, Ore., at the age of 76 after fighting a long hard battle with ovarian cancer.
Anne is survived by her three children; Randy Rone, Rhonda Garrison, Robin Kludt and daughter-in-law Lori Rone. 8 grandchildren: Kelli Bushnell, Casey Pickard, Chastity Williams, Perry Garrison Jr., Alan Garrison, Eli Anderson, Andi Anderson and Mitchell Anderson. 14 great-grandchildren: Baylee, Kenslee, PJ, Hunter, Shelby, Hailey, Brent, Alana, Hannah, Natalie, Avery, Atreyu, Tristan & Atticus. Brothers: David Carter and Larry Carter. Sisters: Cheryl Carter, Pat Alcorn, Bonnie Loucks, Sandy McBride and Jane Nicklen. Also, her beloved dog, Baby.
Anne is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Marie Pierce, father Ernest Carter, husband Orville Jacob, husband Alan Hicks and brother Bobby Carter.
Anne was born on July 7, 1940 in The Dalles, Ore., to Dorothy Marie Pierce and Ernest Carter. She belonged to the Moose Lodge and Tops of Vancouver, Wash. Anne loved spending time with all of her family especially her great-grandchildren, the kids always brightened her day when they visited.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. with lunch being served at the Water Resource Center (4600 SE Columbia Way Vancouver, Wash.). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anne’s life.
