Ronald George Prante, 66, a resident of The Dalles, passed away at Mid-Columbia Medical Center on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at 9:45pm.
Born February 20th 1950, in White Salmon, WA. Preceded in death by his parents Bertha and Charlie Brown. The third born of five children Deanna Molina, Albert Prante, Ron Prante, Marla Prante and Marsha Taylor. Survived by his immediate family; Pam Prante; sons Shane and Matthew Prante; grandchildren Nicholas Prante and Sasha DeMoss.
Ron was an avid outdoorsman; he was passionate about fishing, hunting and story-telling. He was a jack of all trades that included long haul trucking, warehousing, construction, heavy equipment mechanic and dump trucking. He also sold life insurance by the way! He was involved in coaching his children in baseball, rode motorcycles and enjoyed cooking.
Services to be held on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at 10:30am at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be announced at the end of the memorial.
