Robert Scott Davey, 20, a former resident of The Dalles, Ore., died on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at his home in Richardton N.D. He was born on Nov. 5, 1996, in The Dalles to Randall Davey and Jessie Duarte.
He is survived by his grandmother, Eloise Duarte; father, Randy; mother, Jessie; father’s fiance, Sheryl Borner; sisters, Jessica Pederson and Elizabeth Stocker and their father Mark Pederson, who helped raise him in his younger years; nephews Jordan and Jayden Lane; niece J'Haylee Lane; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He loved spending time with friends and family. He always made others laugh. He enjoyed walking everywhere. He appreciated the scenery of Sorosis Park and spent a lot of his time there, especially with his mother. They always went on dates at Momma Jane's and the movies. She was his best friend. When he moved to North Dakota, to be with his father, they enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the shooting range-it gave him the biggest smile that anyone had seen. He absolutely loved the scenery of the Badlands in Medora, N.D. He was very smart and outspoken. He had a strong passion for listening to music as well as technology, especially with cell phones. Unfortunately he suffered from depression for many years and decided to seek help when he moved back to North Dakota in July of 2017, sadly the medication wasn't a match and he suffered from depression even more. He was well loved by many people.

A celebration of life will be held at Sorosis Park the date and time will be announced at a later date.
