Regulo Guzman

Regulo "Rags" Guzman, 67, passed away on September 4, 2015 at 11:05 p.m. at Cascade Senior Care in The Dalles, Ore. Born in Earle, Ark. on October 4, 1947 and he attended school in Toppenish, Wash. He moved to Wishram, Wash., in 1972 and began work at Martin Marietta Aluminum that year, until 2003 when the plant closed. He worked in grape fields in Granger, Wash., until he was placed on disability, and finally reached retirement age.

Regulo was a great family man and a loving father. He married Margaret in Lewiston, Idaho and had four children. Regulo was a social and active man who was deeply involved in freshwater and charter fishing, and big game hunting, mostly deer and elk. He enjoyed watching sports, camping, barbecuing, and dancing. His family and friends will always remember him as easy going, a lover of the outdoors, and a genuinely happy man. He is survived by his son, Regulo Guzman Jr, three daughters, Christina Schwinof (John), Regina Guzman, and Samantha (Bill) Carlson, one grandson, Cooper Carlson, three sisters, Cynthia Berry (Charles), Clarabel Deleon (Diego) and Elvia Gonzales (Andy), and five brothers, Roger (Lisa), Jose (Maggie), Francisco (Lisa), Jaime (Julie), and Roye (Patty) Guzman.
