Rebecca “Becky” (Bradley) Porter passed at her home in Dufur on March 16, 2015.
She was born in Hood River on April 23, 1951 to William and Norma Bradley.
Becky attended Pine Grove Elementary, Mid Valley Junior High, and graduated from Wy’east High School in 1969. After graduation, Becky attended The Dalles School of Beauty becoming a licensed beautician and started working at Latiara Beauty Salon in The Dalles. Shortly thereafter, while living in The Dalles, she met and eventually married Michael Porter in 1977. Over the next four years they had three children, Kathryn, Russell and Michael. Becky was a stay at home mom until all three kids were in school, then returned to work as a beautician. Later she became an office administrator at Mt. Copiers, IKON, and later worked for Kramers Market in Dufur.
Becky is survived by: Michael, her husband of 37 years; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Gary Jette of Condon; son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Jessie Porter of St. Helens; son, Michael of Dufur. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Wanda Bradley, and an extensive extended family and friends. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Norma.
A beautiful graveside service was held at Pine Grove Butte Cemetery on March 21, 2015.
