Patsy “Pat” Lou Trevis, 73, a resident of The Dalles for 38 years, passed away at her home on August 2, 2016.
She was born on August 11, 1942 in Willits, Calif., the oldest of three children to Lester Andrew and Anna Irene (Newhart) Watson. She grew up in Healdsburg, Calif., graduating from Healdsburg High School in 1960. She joined the U. S. Navy in 1960, where she met Richard Trevis, and later married him on August 26, 1962, in Waterford, Calif. She graduated from Sonoma Community College in 1973, majoring in Cosmetology, and worked as a hairstylist and nail technician. Pat enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church, TOPS and Quilting Club.
Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Trevis, of The Dalles; her three children, Kathleen Schwarzer, and her husband Steve, of Vancouver, Wash., Debbie Trevis of The Dalles and Robert Trevis, and his wife Catherine, of Salem, Ore.; her six grandchildren, Elisha and Oran Pellissier of Vancouver, Wash., Trevor Bark of Corvallis, Tanner Bark of The Dalles, and Lauren and Kyle Trevis of Salem, Ore.; her 2 great grandchildren, Kason and Hudson Morgan of Vancouver, Wash., her brother, Wayne Watson of Healdsburg, Calif., and her brother-in-law, Jim Trevis, and his wife Marilyn. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Louise Rowton.
Viewing visitation will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with Funeral Services to follow at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore.
