Milton Dennis Botts was born on June 5, 1941, and passed away at the age of 75, on Feb. 23, 2017.
Dennis was known for owning and operating gas stations in The Dalles, Ore., for several years.
Dennis’ children and grandchildren will remember him most when gathering at “The Ranch” in The Dalles. It was the place where all the grandchildren grew up riding horses, swimming, sledding, riding motorcycles, and enjoying just being together with their grandpa. Dennis’s dream was to leave “The Ranch” for his children, so that his family would continue to gather and make more memories.
Dennis was preceded in death by father, Lester Botts, and mother, Fern Botts. Dennis was the middle child and is survived by two older sisters; Kathy Stout and Carol Zacharias; two younger twin brothers, Doug and Dan; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis is also survived by three children; son Dennis Botts, Jr. and fiancé Jenny; daughter Teri and husband Tony Davis; daughter April and husband Mark Re. Dennis has eight grandchildren; Darcie and husband Troy Horton; Ashley and husband Corey Nicol’s; Bryce Olsen and wife Cherrae; Cody Olsen; Taylor Olsen; Danyelle and husband Cory Heinz; Kristina and fiancé, Andrew Duncan; Nicole and husband Ben Pierce; five great-grandchildren, Damien, James, Ellie, Abbie and Brayden. Dennis also leaves behind his high school sweetheart from the last 23 years, whom he would refer to as “His Lady,” Annette Lauritzen.
Dennis had many special people that entered his life, and was so glad to know each one, and felt blessed that they were a part of his life.
