Kenneth Alexander McCullough, an amazing father, uncle, brother, son, and friend passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014. Kenn was born at The Dalles Hospital on November 18, 1953 to Russell and Roseanna McCullough. He was raised in Dufur where he attended school and graduated in 1972. Following high school, Kenn attended Oregon State University.
Kenn was a self-made man by design and an entrepreneur by trade. He owned several small businesses through the years, but most prominently M & S Farm and Home Supply, and more recently local FedEx ground routes. His kind and generous heart captured a special place in the local area where he helped brighten everyone’s day. He never met a stranger, and was always eager to get to know people. He could always be found with a smile on his face wherever he went.
Kenn was an active member in the community and selflessly gave of his time and money. Local causes were of utmost importance to him, especially 4-H, St. Mary’s Academy, Dufur School, the Jerri Walker DePriest Foundation, The Gorge Hero’s Club, Community Meals, the Catholic and Episcopal churches and many more. Kenn’s hobbies and interest were vast and wide. He was an expert of random knowledge and history facts, a passion he shared with his boys. Kenn was an extremely loyal fan of the Oregon State Beavers and Portland Trailblazers. Kenn’s boys, nieces, and nephews received his greatest attention and he made it a point to attend all activities in which they participated.
Kenn is survived by his three sons, Kyle (Tami), Turf (Erika), and Kasey; best friend Kim McCullough; siblings Laurie (John) Williams, Mary (Greg) Knutson, and Kevin (Kathy)McCullough; step-father Bill Hulse, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind Tank, his beloved dog.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Dufur School, 802 N.E. Fifth Street.
