Jeanette (Jan) Beth Seeberg, 78, entered into eternal peace with her Savior on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Jan was born in Portland, Oregon on October 7, 1936 to the late Verna (Darnielle) Johnson and Ralph Johnson.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband, partner, and soul mate of 41 years, Stan; son Robert (Diana); grandchildren Alia (Scott) and Toby; great-grandchildren Alex, Cayla, Dakota, and Andrew; and cousin Vickie.
Jan graduated from Washington High School in Portland and attended Oregon State University and the University of Portland. She lived for many years in The Dalles and in southern California before moving home to Vancouver, WA. Jan worked in a variety of administrative and office management positions including those with the City of Portland and with KGW-8 TV. Jan was a pioneering woman working for eight years as a salesperson in the aerospace industry in California; she was often in the million dollar sales club as lead salesperson. She retired in 1993 after serving ten years as Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School in Vancouver, WA.
Jan lived life to the fullest, savoring and cherishing every moment. She was very people-oriented and always delightfully curious about the world and universe around her. Her compassion and caring for people resulted in her setting many souls on their path to the Lord. She was a positive and joyful spirit that inspired everyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path.
Services will be held on March 7th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish; 4723 NW Franklin St., Vancouver: Rosary 10am; Mass 11am; Celebration of Life luncheon 12pm.
