Iris is survived by her husband, James of The Dalles, Oregon, Son; Jeff Mahaffey of Vancouver, Washington, Son; Stephen and daughter-in-law Cindy Mahaffey of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Daughter; Tonya Melton and son-in-law Larry Melton of Tualatin, Oregon, Son Michael B. Mahaffey of Tualatin, Oregon, Brother Brent and sister-in-law, Rosemary Kusisto of Troutdale, Oregon and nephew; Robert Kusisto of Orange County, California, and two granddaughters; Stephanie and Paige Melton.

A private service will be held at a later date.
