Gary Lee Bridgman

On May 1, 2014 Gary Lee Bridgman of The Dalles, Oregon, left this world to be forever with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gary was born September 9, 1943 in Winston, Missouri to Vern and Pauline Bridgman. He married his best friend and love of his life, Vonda (Hines) Bridgman on October 5, 1963. Along with his wife Vonda, he leaves his daughters; Debi Bridgman of Pendleton, OR and children; Natalie, Heath, and Ani; Alaina Oster of The Dalles, OR and children; Jared, Samantha, and Natasha; Shae and husband Mike Kasinger of The Dalles, OR and children; Jaden, Levi, Hunter, Makenzie and Corey, his brother Bruce and wife Shelia Bridgman of Gallatin, Mo along with many relatives in the mid-west. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Micah Kimball.

Gary’s joy was in knowing Jesus personally, living his faith, and serving others. He was with the 101st Airborne Division from 1962-65, he received his MA in teaching, and taught Industrial Arts and coached for 34 years. For the last 10 years he and Vonda have been members of MMAP (Mobile Missionary Assistance Program). His passions outside of teaching included; hunting, fishing, building projects, taxidermy, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
