Don F. McManman

Don was born in Prineville, Ore., to Orval and Leona McManman. He grew up in Madras, Ore., and graduated from Madras High School. Don attended Portland State University where he served as editor of The Vanguard student newspaper during his senior year.

His journalism career included work as a reporter for the Bellingham Herald and the Tri-Cities Herald and editor of The Tillamook Lighthouse-Herald. He was also a public information specialist for the Washington Public Power Plant in Richland, Wash. Don most recently was editor of Pacific Fishing Magazine, a publication for the commercial fishing industry.
