The Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association is planning a fundraiser to honor the late Richard Parker, who is recognized by all who knew him for his artistic influence on education, music, and theater in the Columbia River Gorge. Proceeds will go to supporting local music and theater education programs.

Parker, long-time music director and performer, died in 2015. In addition to singing in local ensembles, he directed plays and musicals at CAST, and was the theater director at Columbia Gorge Community College.
