Hood River Valley takes a three-game win streak into its next boys water polo contest Oct. 11 against Hillsboro.

The Eagles’ latest win came Oct. 3, when HRV beat David Douglas of Portland, 19-10. Senior Owen Shephard was in goal for much of the game for HRV, saving seven of 11 shots he faced. Hood River jumped out to a 13-2 lead after two quarters. Senior Elijah Adams scored eight goals for the Eagles (8-5 overall, 5-0 league). Junior Caiden Titus had five assists for HRV.
