Last week’s image was identified by Bruce Johnson as the early stages of I-84 (called I-80 at the time) from Ruthton Point, upriver to the Hood River-White Salmon bridge. As another reader pointed out, it also looks a lot like Craig Point, some miles upstream. The photo is from the archives of the Hood River History Museum. It may have been taken sometime around 1935.
